If you are looking for some of the best trophy whitetail and turkey hunting in Iowa, look no further. We are located in S.E. Iowa near Montrose. Indian Ridge Outfitters properties is privately owned and has been intensely managed for eight years. We do not shoot bucks under 140 inches and have consistently taken 140 inch to 180 inch deer every year. These properties consist of about 600 acres of thick hardwood timbers, ridges, creek bottoms and CRP fields. There are also corn and bean fields, seven ponds, and strategically placed food plots consisting of turnips and clover to hold and attract the deer and turkeys.
All hunts are semi-guided fair chase hunts from tree stands or ground blinds. We scout the area and place stands in the best locations. We have hunted these properties for nearly forty years and have had great success. The properties are located in Iowa DNR zone six.
